Terms and Conditions

These terms are between you and Joshua Suite ("we", "us") and govern your use of Skyward on the web and iOS. Please read them before using the app.

1. Using Skyward

By using Skyward, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Skyward. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you must have permission from a parent or guardian. Use the service only in accordance with applicable law.

2. Your account

You can sign in with an email address or a supported Google or Apple account. Keep your sign-in details secure, and tell us promptly if you believe someone else is using your Skyward account. You are responsible for activity under your account unless it results from our failure to protect the service.

You can delete your Skyward account in Settings or contact us for help. Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to your data after deletion.

3. Your content

You retain ownership of the quests, notes, journal entries, messages, and other content you create. You give us permission to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide Skyward, sync your devices, show content you choose to share, provide support, and keep the community safe. This permission ends when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable backup and safety-report retention described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not upload content that you do not have the right to use, that is unlawful, or that violates another person's rights. Please avoid putting highly sensitive information in multiplayer quests or chat, where another player can see it.

4. Multiplayer and safety

Multiplayer lets you share selected quest details and messages with another player during a session. Treat other players respectfully. Harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual exploitation, spam, impersonation, and sharing someone else's private information are not allowed. The Community Guidelines give more detail.

You can report or block a player through multiplayer safety controls. We may review reports and take proportionate action, including removing content or limiting access. We cannot promise to review every message before another player sees it.

5. Progress and availability

XP, levels, streaks, and in-app gold are game features only. They cannot be exchanged for money and do not represent property or a financial balance. We may correct obvious calculation or sync errors.

We work to keep your progress available across devices, but syncing and backups can fail. Check that changes have synced before switching devices, and keep an export of important data when that feature is available. We may temporarily interrupt Skyward for maintenance, security, or technical reasons.

6. Our service

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Skyward while you comply with these terms. Skyward's design, software, branding, and other material we provide remain ours or our licensors'. Do not try to interfere with the service, access another user's account or data, or copy or reverse-engineer the app except where law permits.

Skyward is a productivity and motivation tool. It is not medical, mental-health, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for professional care.

7. Third-party services

Skyward uses Google or Apple for sign-in and may display music or video from Spotify, Apple Music, or YouTube. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or availability. See our Cookie Policy for how embedded players may use device storage.

8. Disclaimers and liability

We provide Skyward with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, a particular productivity result, or that every item of data will always be recoverable. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights you may have under consumer-protection law.

9. Changes and ending access

We may update Skyward or these terms. We will post updated terms here with a new date and give notice in the app or by email before material changes take effect. If you do not agree to updated terms, you can stop using Skyward and delete your account.

We may suspend or end access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these terms, protect other players, or comply with law. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and offer a way to contact us about the decision.
